Chunk Originals has evolved from my love of woodworking and a need to recycle. I make my tables and mirrors from timber that has done its job for the last hundred years or so and now will just get dumped or burnt.

Every piece is an original and unique. As well as the stock that I have at the moment, any item can be made to any size or shape you require.

The benefits of using old timber as a material can be found elsewhere on this site. The fact that it is reclaimed timber is the real plus. Most furniture made from recycled timber is made from old oak beam and costs a fortune. This is great until somebody, as is becoming more fashionable, decides to convert an old barn and needs to replace some of the old beams.
